Homeward Conference

Homeward Conference is an ongoing website design project — and a genuinely fun challenge. The site is content-heavy by nature, so a lot of my work has been figuring out how to balance legibility and clarity without sacrificing creativity or visual interest.

One constraint I've had to work around is Squarespace's relationship with custom code — the more you lean on it to fine-tune design and aesthetics, the more it can slow the site down. Finding that balance between a polished result and a performant one has been its own kind of design problem.
